Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has told Music Radar that there's no time frame for his band to get back together. After the group's massive tour in support of their double album 'Stadium Arcadium', the Chili Peppers decided it would be in everyone's best interest to take a little time off to recharge their batteries.
"Maybe it'll be two years, maybe more, who knows?" the drummer said. "It's been a very positive time in our lives, actually. The thing is, we'll only get back together for the right reason: to play music with one another. That's the only agenda this band adheres to."
In the meantime, Smith continues to work with his side project, Chickenfoot.
